Used the magnets on my first quilt on my new Bernina frame. Worked great. Easy to put fabric on. They stayed strong! I got the idea from Amanda when she demonstrated them. Great help!!!
I slid a long strip of 1/16thick 1/2 inch wide tool steel in the pockets of my leaders. This worked perfectly with your magnets. Great product!
I am using them for quilting….they work great. I won’t be sticking my fingers anymore when sandwiching my quilt to my longarm.
Adding the magnets to my leaders was easy. Loaded my first quilt using the magnets to the frame this evening and had no issues. Definitely going to be a time saver and less likely to have blood on a quilt from being pricked with pins. I also took time to make the side clamps. Glad I made the investment.
Bought Magnum Sew Tites for 3 bars on the longarm. Took a few hours to stitch the pockets for the metal backing plates in the leaders. Love the Sew Tites! We used Red Snappers before this. It was difficult to use the snappers with our tired, old arthritic hands. The Sew Tites are so much easier and faster. I also think I'm loading the material more accurately. I highly recommend Sew Tites.
