I do longarm quilting for other people. I have tried different ways for attaching the quilt to the frame and this is by far the best and the easiest way. It was an investment but well worth the cost. I highly recommend the sewtite magnums! My next purchase will be the sewtite cutting system!

My favorite way to use sew tires is when I finish a quilt and hang it on a metal banister with the magnums (yellow) 5 will hold a queen quilt. I just bought more at the quilt expo in Texas. Countless ways to utilize these handy magnets!🧲

I tried the SewTite Magnum magnetic bars for my long arm leaders. It is easier than pins, zippers or red snappers! Makes setting up for quilting fun!

The idea of sewing pockets into your leaders is a great idea. If you don’t you end up spending way too much time looking for them and making sure they are separated. Then again maybe that’s only me.

Store owner replied: Thank you for your purchase and for taking the time to leave a review! How you stitch your Magnum Back in your leaders is really a matter of personal preference. Some quilters prefer to stitch them down tightly, so they stay in place. Others stitch them every 6 inches, leaving a couple of inches between stitches to allow for some adjustment. Another popular option is to leave them loose and use a Magnum SewTite to hold the backing into position as needed. There isn't one "right" way—it's all about finding the method that works best for your quilting style. We appreciate your feedback and hope you continue to enjoy your SewTites!
I love my sew tite magnets!!!! I use the HD for my side clamps. Live them and never looked back. So much easier for bobbin thread changes and rulers work. The clamps always tangled up on my machine while changing the bobbin and I always stuck myself when pinning webbing for use with the ruler base. My magnums allow me to load my quilt in a fraction of the time and again no pins! I always prick myself putting blood on the quilt. I've also ruined shirts that snagged when I got too close to the bar and the pins stuck my shirt and me. Ugh!!! I am so thankful for being able to load pin free, with ease, allow me to get close to the edge of the fabric when I'm a bit shy.

The magnums are great. They make loading a quilt on the longarm so much easier and hold very securely. They don't move. Great buy.

We’re easy to put them in I also did the same for the longarm at our church group so no more pins

My best friend initially bought me two packs of 5 for Christmas. She received an emailed coupon to buy one get one 50% off. I used the coupon code and bought two more packs of 5. I used ten on my top bar to secure my backing fabric and I use ten to hold the backing onto the actual having bar if my longarm frame. I have to use a few pins still, I guess that means I need to buy another pack, or two! ❤️🫶 Thank you Sewtites for creating this amazing product!

Store owner replied: Thank you so much for your kind words and amazing review! The video review is perfect. Some customers use the other SewTites, like Dots or HDs to fill in little gaps, if needed. Otherwise, another pack and putting them a bit closer together would work wonderful! We appreciate you!
This is the first quilt I tried with my sewing machine totes. I have them on all three rails! What a time saver, I LOVE them!!!

Purchased to use on LongArm leaders. Note*** it needs 3x20pk to do 1 12’ LA. When unboxed, it was difficult to pull apart magnums to sew into leaders, but a simple ziptie solved issue. I Have really enjoyed the magnums for easy loading/unloading LA. It’s an investment to be sure, but arthritis & pinning = no joy. Magnums = Joy I started with 1 set of 20 centered on 3 leaders @ 7, 7, 6 interval as a test.

Magnum sewtites make loading my quilts quick , easy and secure. Takes the frustration out of loading and on to the fun of quilting!

Sewtites Magnets have made loading and unloading my quilts so easy. The time savings alone is justifies the expense.

I love my SewTite Magnums. I use them to load quilts on my longarm. I previously use a rod and clamp system, but SewTite Magnums are MUCH faster, and the low profile means that I can get much closer to the edge of the fabric, so there is less waste. This is my favorite purchase of 2025!

I followed the latest trend of sewing Magnum plates into my longarm leaders so I can use the Magnums to hold the fabric to the roller! No pins for me! I have two sets of leaders so I purchased extra Magnum backs so I could have plates in all my leaders and be ready to go whichever size I was using. Great product and works great for this application!

Finally got to use my Sew Tites today. I love them!!! Not only are they much easier to use than the red snappers I have used for the last 3 years. I also have more throat space and I can also use my rail clamps. It’s a win win. I have an idler rail and because I put the yellow part into the sleeve it’s easier to roll the quilt when first starting. I also have about 8” of backing at the top to be able to roll the backing several times before quilting.

I waited to provide a review of the Sewtites Magnums until I had used them for a while. My first try was an epic failure because I did not follow any of the recommended methods. After that, I watched Shelly Moore’s and Adam Sew Fun’s YouTube videos on setting up and using the Sewtites Magnums. In the end, I chose to use the method described by Shelly. After doing that, I have not experienced any slipped off the leader issues. I am now accustomed to using them and I very much find them quick and easy to use. I have in the past used the Red Snapper clamps. I would say both are quick and easy to use but I have to say the Sewtites edged out a bit. I can use the magnets to hold things in place while loading. I also use the Sewtites to hold patterns and fabric in place while cutting by adding a sheet of metal under my cutting mats. So, in addition to using them to load quilts, I have found other uses. One other thing to note, you will have to make sure that the quilt back edge is advanced and out of the way such that the machine sew head or the ruler base does not hit the Sewtite magnums.

Wow. What a time saver! I just completed a custom quilt on my longarm with lots of rolling back and forth. The Sew Tites held perfectly.

I bought these for my longarm frame to find a better way to put the backing on versus pinning. I constantly prick myself, and it took me a good 45 minutes to put on a lap-size backing. I sewed the base of the Magnum magnets into my leaders and used the magnets to attach my backing. It took less than half the time it normally takes me, plus no pricks in my fingers! Great investment.

I attached the metal backing pieces into the sleeves with a tagging gun - fast and easy, plus easy to move when I didn't like their positions. I find 6" to be the perfect spacing; closer would waste magnet length, and you can always move the backing (left/right) to the edge of its space to secure the corner/edge of a quilt. Had red snappers prior to this - too thick and got in the way of my 18" throat space. Pins prior to that caused me to bleed all over the quilts :/

I absolutely love the SewTites for my longarm!! I hated pinning in quilts, always sticking my fingers. It would take me an hour to get it on. Now, it only takes me 5 to 10 minutes! I'm quilting more and I love it! I'm recommending SewTites to all my friends! Thank you for a great product! Diana B

The customer is fantastic at Sewtites. Ashlee was wonderful in helping me get the right products and quick delivery. I am almost done sewing in the plate in all my leader clothes. I found a great video to make side leaders with my blue material with the smaller magnetics to elimate having to pin the side leaders on too. Can’t wait to start quilting

I’m sure it will be great but I haven’t used them yet. I bought two longarm packs for my new longarm and sewed up the casings into the new leaders. I slid the magnet backs into the casings 6 inches apart and sewed the seam on each side to keep them in their place. There’s no reason why these won’t be the perfect 🤩 choice. I’m so glad I didn’t buy more red snappers to fit the 12 ft frame. Yes, the magnets are extremely expensive and a lot harder to slide apart than it looked but certainly doable. I’ll have to buy some more (probably a five pack) to fill in a few gaps but then it’ll be completely installed. Yay 🥳

Just started using Sew Tites on my longarm after a friend recommended them for easy loading of quilt backs. I took the plunge and bought 3 boxes. It was easy to sew them into my leaders, and a little trial & adjusting, I was able to load my first back! Yay! No more pins pricking my fingers and it turns it out, this method is much faster. I was concerned about large quilts ( I quilt a large number of queen and king quilts for customers), but they work just fine. I do take off the top magnet strips the extras on the shorter quilts so I don't have to fight with the magnets sticking to the frame in unwanted locations. I love them and will be trying the smaller magnets for my hand work items. Great product--worth the money!!

I use to dread pinning my quilt back on to my long arm. My back would hurt so bad after I finished loading I had to wait and start quilting the next day. I decided to get SewTites a try. I absolutely LOVE this system. I can load a quilt back in under a minute now. I will never go back and I tell all my other quilter friend’s about them. This system is so easy to use I have gotten 5 quilts quilted in the past week! I’ve never gotten that many done so quickly before. Love it!

These SewTite Magnums are next level wonderful. Longarm loading is so much faster and fuss free with them. I wanted to share my apron hack because it keeps the parts easy to separate and handle. I just sewed channels in an apron and load the SewTites as pictured. Thanks for a marvelous product.
